Dr. Rich Israel and Dr. Tim Powell will make a presentation on “Preaching and Teaching from the Old Testament” Friday, October 20 at 7:00 p.m. Seaside Assembly of God will open its doors for the ministers of the section. Pastors’ wives are invited to attend and connect with Joyce Irwin during the meeting. Among the issues being addressed by Israel and Powell are:
- Should the Pentecostal minister preach and teach from the Old Testament?
- What hermeneutical tools can be used to properly interpret these passages?
- How can the text’s genre enhance the sermon organization?

Our General Superintendent, Thomas Trask, has called a “Day of Prayer and Fasting”. Pastors in the Coast Counties Section will gather at House of Prayer in Watsonville Tuesday, October 24 at 10:00 a.m.
